Just twenty kilometers from Novi Sad, in the peace and quiet of the Vojvodina plains, lies Kovilj Monastery, one of the most significant Serbian Orthodox monasteries. According to tradition, it was founded by Saint Sava in the early 13th century, while its present appearance dates back to the 18th century and stands as an exceptional example of Serbian Baroque architecture.

Surrounded by old trees, wide meadows, and a serene landscape, the monastery complex offers perfect conditions for outdoor photographic work. Throughout the day, the changing shades of natural light provide inspiring opportunities to explore composition, contrast, and atmosphere.
